We will not let the sun dampen your spirit. Follow our simple tips and you will have a happy skin this summer.

1. Apply Sunscreen

Sunscreen should always be in your bag; apply a generous amount 30 minutes before stepping out and re-apply when required. Choose a sunscreen with SPF 30 or above and make sure it easily blends in, else it will block your pores and your skin won’t be able to breathe.

2. Use Face Wash

Wash your face with a mild face wash daily, at least twice a day. This will help wash out all the dirt and oil deposited throughout the day on your face.

3. Exfoliate Regularly

You need to get rid of the dead skin deposition that leads to dull skin, thus exfoliate frequently as per your skin type to rejuvenate your skin (avoid exfoliating if you have acne or acne prone skin). It leaves your skin softer and brighter.

4. Light or No Makeup

Try to avoid makeup in summers and be in your natural skin as it might lead to clogging of pores with the heat and humidity. Else opt in for light makeup and make sure that you use waterproof cosmetics.

5. Hydrated Skin

Your skin needs to be hydrated in summers and for that you can apply aloe vera on your skin or you could use DIY homemade face masks made of natural ingredients like yogurt, honey and cucumber. You could also invest in a good face mist, just few sprays and your skin will feel alive.

6. Water Content

Water should be always by your side in summers and don’t forget to keep sipping it. Also include fruits & vegetables with high water content like watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Coconut water is a healthy and good alternative to plain water.

7. Stay Protected

Scarves, umbrellas, hats, sunglasses; grab as many things possible to protect your skin from the strong and harsh sun. The heat makes the skin dry and also leads to ageing of the skin.
