A perfect day will convert into a nightmare if you have flaky mascara, runny liners and cakey foundation. The perfect glowing skin is what we aim for each morning glaring at the mirror while we get ready.

1. Moisturising

It’s important to moisturize your skin before applying makeup, it is the key step for a smooth look. Choose a moisturizer that suits your skin type; preferably an oil free variant.

2. Primer

You should use a primer before applying a base directly. It helps the makeup to stay intact for a longer duration. You can apply it over your eyelids and lips too as it helps in getting the exact shade of your eye shadow & lipstick.

3. Eyes Liner/Kajal

Liners & kajal are quintessential for eye makeup. Try gel liners for the upper lids and restrict your kajal to the waterline. It’s best to use water proof products for hot and humid weather.

4. Setting Powder

Once you have applied the foundation and concealer, make sure you dab some powder with a brush to wipe off the extra product and get an even look.

5. Lipsticks

Post lipstick application, use a tissue and press it on your lips and apply some powder keeping the tissue intact. This ensures a long color stay and avoids lipstick stains.

6. Tissues

When your skin is exposed to heat, it definitely becomes greasy. Make sure you carry some tissues to dab your skin, it will soak up the oil giving you a fresher and neater look.

7. Au Naturale

The best tip is to let your skin breathe and flaunt your natural skin. Makeup in summers might lead to clogging of pores, thus keep the makeup to a minimum.
