Leading Indian ladies to be honored by the President of India!

Today, India is no more the nation dominated by men but it is the country where women are thriving really well in each and every field. Areas which were previously male-dominated only have witnessed the exemplary contribution of women in the past few years. Along with mastering their roles in the respective fields, they have set benchmarks for others in a commendable manner.

The Ministry of Women & Child Development has chosen 112 women to commemorate the achievements of the women for their respective milestones. These leading Indian ladies are being honored at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Saturday evening of 20th Jan by the President of India. Undoubtedly, this is going to raise the bar for everyone.

It is a great initiative from Ministry of WCD to notice the extraordinary efforts of women like Manju Yadav who has broken the stereotypes by working as a porter after the death of her husband. Another example is from the field of sports, Deepa Malik for winning a medal in Paralympic games. This proves that sheer determination, hard work and commitment will lead you towards your goals. If you think you can, you can surely do it marvelously. Just believe in yourself.

The list includes women from different fields like sports, defence, culinary, fashion, health and fitness, etc. Some of the dignified names are Bachendri Pal, P.V Sindhu, Radhika Menon, Chhavi Rajawat, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the Indian Women’s Ice Hockey Team and many more.
